I woke up an hour ago. This, or yesterday, had been a most tiresome day. Lucien picked me up from work and we went to WalMart to do more Christmas shopping (oh, when will this end?) for the kids on his side of the family. Fortunately, there was a lot of clearance sales at the Toys area. Yay! Lots of cheap stuff to choose from.
Later, as we got home, we started wrapping the presents. It took us a while to finish them, and by the time we were done it was 2 hours before we had to leave for Lucien’s mom’s house. Lucien wanted to go there early so we could leave early. Thus, I didn’t get to sleep at all. Lucien slept about an hour and a half.
We went to Lucien’s mom’s and after visiting with her for a while, Lucien and I were too tired to keep awake. We took a nap on mom’s bed for about 3 hours before the brother and sister arrived.
When we got home around 7pm, we just collapsed on the bed, too tired to keep awake. I slept for 8 hours straight.
Staying up for more than 24 hours can do you in. Bah, even now I don’t even know how to finish this entry.
