Another exhausting day yesterday for house hunting. We found another good house and set up the paperwork for it. Good news is our agent says that we were able to place the bid on it and our mortgage person is asking us to fax some information for him. Yay! I think we will be able to get the house this time. :) I’m still a little apprehensive though, because there are still a lot of “what ifs”. Maybe when we get the closing done, I’ll breathe a sigh of relief.
Getting the house means that I have to have my mom take over paying the utility bills for the house we’re staying in right now. This also means I might have to cut sending money to my sisters in the Philippines. This means more bills…Lucien’s stressed out because of it, but I’m trying to just take it one day at a time. Thinking about money problems just gives me a headache.
Everything’s pretty much the same. Get up, go to work, go home, blah blah blah. It’s boring. It takes me to auto mode. Been doing a little bit of soul searching as well.
This Friday, though, I’ll be attending a friend’s wedding. I have not seen her since Spanish class back in 1998. We still email each other occasionally, but that’s it.
